Establishment of the University of Nigde:
The University of Nigde was established in 1992, in the city of Nigde, which is about 10 minutes away from the city center.
The University currently has 14 faculties, two colleges, one conservatory, 4 institutes, 6 vocational schools and 15 research and application centers.
It also provides many educational and other programs for bachelor's, master's and doctoral students.
It is an advanced level University at the local and international levels.
Objective:
It seeks to be a leading and innovative University with a focus on regional development and a contribution to the development of the country and the region through the development of science, technology and art and the preparation and training of individuals and researchers until they reach the required global knowledge.
It accepts a large number of international students every year, which contributes to the exchange of different cultures.
No YÖS or SAT admission tests are required to register for the University differentiation.
It allows studying in two shifts (morning and evening).

The relatively high cost of living and accommodation is due to the fact that the city is touristic.
