Founded in 2008, Munzur University is a public University located in the city of Tunceli, the University includes the newly established Faculty of Engineering, which includes the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Computer Engineering, Industrial and Civil Engineering and many departments, in addition to the Tunceli Vocational School and many master's and doctoral programs, including the underwater technologies program, the map analysis program, and the Health, veterinary medicine, secretarial and medical documentation program, in addition to the ophthalmologist program and the tourism and hotel management program, the University was established on an area of 600 acres of land in the village of Aktuluk, as for student services, the University guarantees student gatherings that educate students, raise the level of self in a research capacity, and meet their social needs such as rest, use of time, and organize seminars. For educational, health, sports, social and cultural purposes, the mission of Munzur University is to facilitate education, research and development activities so as to develop and encourage individuals who possess innovative minds capable of providing solutions to the challenges facing building communities, although the University is modern, but it has developed in a very short time and this is due to its interest in its goals and interest in its students. The vision of Munzur University is to be a global University that promotes the development of entrepreneurial projects through the research and development activities provided by the University.
