About the city of Hatay:
The city of Hatay in Turkey, which is one of the largest Turkish cities, it is characterized by the Republic of Turkey with a large number of cities, tourist cities which many tourists from all parts of the world flock, and it is one of the most famous coastal cities is Hatay, which is located in the southern part of the Turkey, and its capital is the city of Antakya, which was called the former Iskenderun Brigade until 1939, the total area is approximately 5.678 km. The city of Hatay is considered one of the distinctive and ancient cities where many ancient civilizations lived in varying periods, dating back to 40 thousand years BC, knowing that in different periods of time the Assyrians, Phoenicians, Persians, and even the pharaohs came to it, and in 300 BC the Empire of Antakya was established in it, and it became subordinate to the city until it entered under Umayyad rule during Islamic rule in 638 AD, and remained under the grip of leadership Islamic, until it fell under French control in 1920.
Hatay is famous for its delicious food, especially the Shawarma restaurants, which are crowded in the city because of its fame.
The city is cheap for the students and rents are somewhat cheap compared to other cities.
Hatay Mustafa kemal University was established in 1992 by the Higher Education Institutions Authority
It includes 13 colleges, 9 institutes, 3 vocational schools and 18 research and application centers, including the new College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering and Architecture, the College of Agriculture, the College of Veterinary, the College of Dentistry which were established under the management of the University With the transformation of the Antakya Educational School into a college.
Dortyol Vocational School of Health Services joined Hatay Mustafa Kemal University in 1993.
