About the city of Duzce:
Duzce is a charming and green city located in the western Black Sea region, agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry are among the main sources of livelihood of the city, the fact that the city is located between two large cities such as Istanbul and Ankara make its economic structure more dynamic, the fact that it is the only surviving old city in the western Black Sea gives a privileged location.
The city of Duzce is described as a hidden paradise with its ancient riches, natural wonders and cultural origins. its beauty has its plateaus, waterfalls, historical areas and many natural and cultural wonders such as the beaches of Akçakoca and the castle of Genoese.
When Duzce University was established in 2006, it accomplished great achievements academically in a short period of time, and became a higher education institution thanks to its achievements, scientific research and steps in the field of education throughout history .
Duzce University has 14 faculties, 4 institutes, 10 vocational schools, research and development centers, as well as a training and development hospital.
