Since then, Bartın University has experienced continuous growth, both academically and structurally. Between 2010 and 2019, it added new faculties to meet the needs of international students seeking bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programmes in Turkey. These include the Faculty of Education and Arts (2010), Faculty of Science (2011), Institute of Educational Sciences and Faculty of Islamic Sciences (2012), Ulus Vocational School (2017), Faculty of Foreign Languages and Faculty of Health Sciences (2018), and Faculty of Sports Sciences (2019). By presidential decree in 2019, the Faculty of Engineering was restructured and renamed the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, aligning with global academic standards. In the same year, all institutes were unified under the Institute of Higher Education.
Today, in 2026, Bartın University offers 9 faculties, 3 vocational schools, and 1 institute, serving over 20,000 students from Turkey and across the world.
