About Amasya University:
Amasya University is a public University founded in 2006.
Although Amasya University is small, it has a deep-rooted academic history, AMASYA College of Education (1974-1975), AMASYA Vocational School (1975-1976), AMASYA Health School (1992-1993) and Vocational School (1991-1992) affiliated to Ondokuz Mayıs University.
Thanks to its experienced staff, dynamic and competent faculty, it enjoys a local and international reputation as well.
In short, although it is a modern University founded in 2006 integrated with all the owners of cooperation and open to innovations being a modern University, Amasya University has made great progress in a very short time, taking firm steps towards its goal with the slogan "Together Forward".
Amasya University consists of 8 faculties, and 8 institutes spread over the campus.
One of the advantages of this University is that it is one of the leading Universities in Turkey in terms of the number of student exchanges and the diversity of universities that cooperate with it and that implement the Mevlana Exchange program and the Erasmus program, in addition, the Farabi program for local exchange between universities is also implemented.
