About Osmaniye Korkut Ata University:
The Ottoman vocational school founded in 1976 under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, served in a building belonging to the Osmaniye Municipality, was linked to the Çukurova University in 1981 with the approval of the Higher Education Law.
Osmaniye University which was associated with Çukurova University, acquired the current campus area, which is the pasture of the village of Vakiwaşek, 5 km from the center of the city, as a result of the activities carried out to form the infrastructure of the University that will be created in the future, the current campus area was formed.
It was published in the official newspaper in 2006 affiliated to the University of Çukurova, that the Faculty of Engineering became affiliated with the Ministry of Education with a letter from the Ministry of Education.
Osmaniye Korkut Ata University is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Turkey, and is recognized in most Arab countries, and it does not require the YÖS or SAT certificate as a prerequisite in order to register on its university differentiation.
The University consists of 7 faculties; Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Religious sciences, Kadirli College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Kadirli College of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health Sciences, 2 institutes Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Graduate School of Social Sciences, 2 School of Physical Education and Sports, and School of Foreign Languages, 5 vocational schools; With Bahçe Vocational School, Düziçi Vocational School, Kadirli Vocational School, Osmaniye Vocational School, and Vocational School of Health Services.
